My name is Marcus J. I am on track to become an Industrial Engineer, but above that I am a person focused on well developing my brain in its entirety rather than being contained to a single learning style.
I went to an art school in high school where I majored in visual arts, then completely flipped the script as a I entered directly into the school of engineering where I am now.
If anyone happens to stumble upon these blog posts for any reason, understand that these are just my thoughts that I have come to believe through my logic. I have no PhD or even Master's degrees in anything I will post about, but I do have logic behind all things I will post about.
This logic comes from my passion for autodidactism, or simply put my desire of self-education. Whether this be through the realms of art, philosophy, religion, or physical science, I believe everyone should always ask the question "Why?" and when people run out of answers for you, proceed to search for an answer by any measures necessary.
Hopefully, if this blog does reach anyone, it will briefly allow you to see things from my perspective and logic. If you have extra comments or concerns on any posts, feel free to share your point of view, but do understand although I respect everyone's thoughts I have the right to completely disregard them, call the BS where I see it, and above all ask for the logic behind the point of view that you bring to the table as to understand better.
One final note, I do not argue, especially over the internet, so be polite in your responses and I will return the respect. If any comment has a negative impulsion, I will delete it and continue on with the more enlightened individuals instead of wasting life on ignorance.
With all of that being said, I hope anyone who sees this blog site will enjoy reading my posts.
Just my thoughts.
-Marcus J.
P.S. The quotation in the background is by George Gurdjieff which says the following:
"Without self knowledge, without understanding the working and functions of his machine, man cannot be free, he cannot govern himself and he will always remain a slave."
